     Hi! My name is María Inés. This is my second year of University. 

    I was born on May 12th 2004, the same day of my dad's birthday😅

    My mom is form Osorno, a city in the south of Chile. My dad is from Puerto Aysén, also in the south. Both cities are so cold and beautiful.  I live with them in Maipú, Santiago. We don't have any pets 😭

    I studied for six years at the Colegio Hermanos Carrera de Maipú, after at the Liceo Bicentenario de Niñas de Maipú, and my last two years of school I studied at Liceo 7 de Santiago. At the same time, I studied to play the keyboard at the ESAM for only one year. The coming year, I entered the career of Musical Interpretation in Piano at the Universidad de Chile, when I was eleven years old🐥

My awards include the Second Prize at the V Piano Competition organized by Radio Beethoven (2017, Chile), the Second Prize at the VII Piano Competition organized by Radio Beethoven (2019, Chile), and the third prize at the 2nd Latin American Piano Competition "América para Todos" (2021, México). I traveled to Frutillar in July 2022 and to Osorno in November 2022 for a Musical Advanced Class.

My favorite composers are Sergei Rachmaninoff, Florence Price, Béla Bartók and Alberto Ginastera. I really like to investigate about women composers and latin american music.

During the pandemic, I learned to crochet. This is one of my favorite amigurumis that I have made (Yes, he is Beethoven✨✨)

    

I would like to learn to make coffee, a filtered coffee every morning would be wonderful 💖
